UPDATED: Police Investigate Armed Robbery at Swift Stop

Ames police said man robbed cashier at knife point.

Ames Police are hoping that people might be able to identify the person who reportedly robbed the Swift Stop at 1118 South Duff Ave. about 2:22 a.m. Tuesday.

A caucasian man standing about 5 foot 10 inches tall, wearing a black shirt and armed with a knife demanded cash, according to the release. The man was thought to be in his mid 20s. No one was injured in the incident.

Police have released photos of the man and photos of a sports utility vehicle that might have been used in the robbery.
