RDG Planning and Design, will go over renovations and additions planned for Kate Mitchell Elementary School 7:30 p.m. Tuesday July 16 in the Mitchell School gym.
Architects hope to improve security, the gymnasium and the cafeteria with renovations scheduled to begin in the spring of 2014. Voters approved a $55 million bond referendum in April 2012 that would be used to build three new elementary schools for the Ames Community School District and renovate two others.
