Story County Medical Center Names CEO

Story County Medical Center has named a new CEO.

Story Medical's Board of Trustees announced this week that Timothy Ahlers of Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, accepted the offer.

Ahlers plans to take over in September, and Tom Mulrooney will continue to serve as the interim CEO until then, according to a release from the Story County Medical Center.

Dave Anderson Story Medical's Board of Trustees said in a prepared statement that the search for a new CEO was exhaustive.

“The overwhelming consensus is Tim is a great fit for Story Medical and his experience and skills will be vital to out growth and success and we look forward to continuing the great work being accomplished here.”
