Mondays @ The Garden

8 to 9 a.m. Monday, Squaw Creek Community Garden, South Maple and 4th Street

Children will learn gardening skills through an Ames Public Library program.


North Grand Farmers' Market

3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday North Grand Mall

Tune into Main Street

Keith McCaulley and Friends will perform at Tom Evan's Plaza 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Children's activities and food will be available.

Hot Dog Dinner Theater

Noon and 5 p.m. Thursday Durham Bandshell, Rick Eugene a magician will perform and hot dogs will be served.

Friday Features

2 to 4 p.m. Friday. Free movie “The Rescue Down Under” at the Ames City Auditorium for the whole family.

Rock the Library

7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Free show at the Durham Bandshell sponsored by the Ames Public Library. Local bands will perform.

Senior Variety Show

7:30 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Sunday. “Lettuce Entertain You” at the Ames City Auditorium. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.

North Grand Farmers' Market

8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday North Grand Mall

Ames Main Street Farmers' Market

8 a.m. to noon Saturday Ames Main Street

Goods, live music, children's activities and more.

Live Music at Prairie Moon


3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Prairie Moon Winery & Vineyards, 3801 West 190th Street in Ames. Flipside will perform. Admittance is $3.
