The first phase of the project will also include construction of a new connection from Billy Sunday Road to South Duff Avenue. To complete this work, a temporary sidewalk will be constructed for the shared use path along the east side of South Duff Avenue. Two lanes of travel will be maintained on Billy Sunday Road during this phase, which is anticipated to take one month to complete, weather dependent.
Future phases of the project will include South Duff Avenue (U.S. Highway 69) intersection construction, additional Billy Sunday Road construction, and the installation of a new traffic signal.
