Was It Hot Enough To Make You Turn on the A/C?

Admit it. You were tempted to turn on the A/C today.

But who turned that dial?

It was 83 degrees in late afternoon. That's downright blistering heat compared to recent weeks.

But enjoy it while it lasts. There's a hazardous weather advisory that went live as of 3:30 p.m. due to likely thunderstorms and showers.

Storms are expected tonight from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., and then most of the day on Wednesday.

By mid week, on Wednesday and Thursday, we could be looking at snow and sleet, and to wrap up the week - more rain on Friday and Saturday. Temperatures could dip 38 degrees during the day on Thursday and in the 30s in the overnights.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ALONG A COLD FRONT LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND INTO THE EVENING. A FEW SEVERE STORMS ARE POSSIBLE WITH HALF DOLLAR SIZED HAIL AND 60 MPH WINDS POSSIBLE. IN ADDITION...CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR TRAINING STORMS WHICH MAY LEAD TO A NARROW BAND OF HEAVY RAINFALL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY RAIN WILL REMAIN IN THE FORECAST WEDNESDAY FRIDAY NIGHT. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES MAY CAUSE SIGNIFICANT WITHIN BANK RISES ALONG MANY RIVERS WITH MINOR FLOODING OCCURRING IN SOME LOCATIONS.
