Watch Miller Avenue School Under Construction

Ames Community Schools have set up a web cam so people can watch construction of the district's newest elementary school

The Ames Community School district has set up a webcam to allow residents to watch construction of the district's newest elementary school as the project progress.

The Miller Avenue school is expected to open in the fall of 2014. The school replaces Edwards Elementary but it will have different boundaries.

Some students who currently live in the Edwards Elementary School attendance zone would be moved to Sawyer Elementary School. The boundary for the Miller Avenue school would take students from Edwards, Sawyer and Mitchell elementary schools. The boundaries for Fellows Elementary school would not change in 2014.
