Cedar Falls Police Make Arrests in Connection to Reported Robbery

Cedar Falls Police have arrested a Waterloo woman and a teen in connection with a robbery reported Sept. 10.
The victim in the alleged robbery reported that two acquaintances threatened him with a knife and attempted to force him to withdraw cash from an ATM machine.Â

On Monday, police arrested Ashley Marie Tyer, 18, of Waterloo and a 17-year-old, also of Waterloo. Patch does not typically print the names of juveniles who have been arrested.
Both were charged with second-degree robbery in the 2nd degree, a Class C felony, and were taken to the Black Hawk County Jail.
