Cedar Falls Police Release Name Of Shooting Victim

On December 4, 2019, at 9:17 PM, officers with the Cedar Falls Police were dispatched to 112 Main Street #2 on a shots fire call. When officers arrived on scene they learned that a male had been shot. The suspect(s) fled the area before officers arrived. The male was found in the apartment deceased.

The police believe that this was a targeted shooting and the public is not in danger.

Update 12/6/19: The name of the deceased is 24-year-old Grant Thomas Saul. An autopsy has been ordered and the investigation continues.
