Cedar Falls Police: School Bus, SUV Collide on First Day Back to School

A Cedar Falls school bus and a SUV collided Wednesday afternoon, Cedar Falls Police said.

Police said the bus stopped for railroad tracks on Center Street near West First Street at about 3:15 p.m. when it was struck from behind by a sport-utility vehicle.

No one was injured in the accident. The bus was full of children who were transferred to another bus.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
