Cedar Falls Road Closure Notices - Asphalt Overlay Restoration

June 9, 2021

Beginning the week of June 14, 2021, the contractor will begin placing the base and surface courses of the asphalt overlays on half of the streets slated for asphalt restoration this construction season. To begin the work, a full road closure is required during the placement of the base course and surface course.

With the base course, the roadway will be reopened to traffic that same day. With the surface course, the roadway will be reopened the following day. These closures are expected to remain minimal.

The streets that will be impacted by this work are: Garden Avenue (From Pleasant Drive to Loma Street); Iowa Street (From W 9th to W 11th Street); W 17th Street (From College Street to Walnut Street); Lilac Lane (From Boulder Drive to Carlton Drive); Calumett Drive (From Boulder Drive to Lilac Lane)
