The City of Cedar Falls has been working with state and county agencies to prepare for the likely arrival of COVID-19 to our area. While no city services have been impacted at this time, the Cedar Falls Public Safety Services Department is monitoring the national and state-level situation. Updates and details to residents will be provided through media outlets and the City of Cedar Falls Facebook and Twitter (@citycf) pages, as well as on www.cedarfalls.com.

Early City actions have been to provide public safety personnel with protective masks and gloves, and to ensure that response vehicles and uniforms are thoroughly disinfected as needed, as a precaution against the transmission of COVID-19. Additionally, the Consolidated Dispatch Center (911) is using a protocol to identify potential symptoms of the Coronavirus
