Fundraiser for 220 East Community Center Packs The Octopus
The event raised money for 220 East, a community and arts center in downtown Waterloo, which was hit by a robbery recently.
A lineup of local bands and a good cause inspired people to fill The Octopus bar on College Hill Thursday night.
The event raised money for 220 East, a community and arts center in downtown Waterloo, which was hit by a robbery recently.
The center is trying to replace a projector and other equipment that were stolen.
The band lineup included Carli J. Page, Emily Mollman, Zak Hagen, Dylan Sires and Neighbors, Groove Machine, Skott Green and Peas and Carrot.
