Several door prizes, raffle prizes, hole events, and donated items will be offered up to benefit the Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office Community Services fund. This is the non-tax based funding that supports the drug education program DON'T, which is being taught in the Dunkerton, Union, and Don Bosco School Districts. This fund also supports the Sheriff's Office community outreach and public education efforts with materials and items for every public safety topic from burglary prevention to detecting methamphetamine production. Also funded through this event are our youthful offender diversion efforts.
Anyone interested in golfing should contact the Sheriff's Office, as spots are filling up quickly. You are also invited to donate to the cause or simply come out and join us for a great steak dinner for $20 per person (payable in advance for planning purposes).
