Iowa Corn Growers Endorse Braley, Rogers, Kressig and Danielson's Re-Election Bids
The Iowa Corn Growers Association has endorsed 72 state and federal candidates, including Bruce Braley in Iowa's 1st District.
The political action committee of the Iowa Corn Growers Association has endorsed Iowa's 1st District Representative, Bruce Braley, in his re-election bid.
"I'm honored to earn the support of the Iowa Corn Growers," he said in a release. "I'm very proud of the support I've received from Iowa ag groups this election."
The Iowa Corn Growers said they evaluated candidates based on their stances on policies involving ethanol, the environment, the farm bill, taxes and livestock.

Braley's Republican opponent, Ben Lange, has been by the Iowa Farm Bureau, the American Future Fund and former Republican presidential nominee candidate Rick Santorum.
The Corn Growers Association also endorsed 67 candidates for the Iowa State Senate and the Iowa House of Representatives.

In Cedar Falls, they included Republican incumbent Walt Rogers, running against Bob Greenwood for Iowa House district 60; Bob Kressig, Democratic incumbent running against Jim Kenyon for Iowa House district 59; and Democratic incumbent Jeff Danielson, running against Matt Reisetter for Iowa Senate district 30.
