Man Pleads Guilty In Cedar Falls Stabbings
A man and woman were stabbed repeatedly outside an apartment complex in October 2016.

CEDAR FALLS, IA — A Cedar Falls man charged with stabbing another man 24 times and stabbing a woman eight times has pleaded guilty to burglary and willful injury. Prosecutors had agreed to drop charges of attempted murder in exchange for the guilty pleas, according to the Associated Press.
AP reported that Adam Jacobsen, 30, pleaded guilty on Monday. A sentencing date was not determined.
Jacobsen was arrested in October 2016 after the stabbings outside the University Studios apartments, AP wrote. The male victim had a gun and held it on Jacobsen until police arrived.

Before reaching the plea agreement, Jacobsen had undergone a psychological evaluation and was found competent to stand trial, according to the AP story.
