Community Main Street is seeking a part-time office coordinator (15 - 20 hours/wk) to assist with administrative needs and staffing the office. Qualified candidate must have QuickBooks or financial experience. Enthusiasm and experience in a fast paced office setting is a must.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Proficiency with advanced features of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Technical knowledge or expertise relevant to QuickBooks and producing non-profit financials
including tracking accounts payable, accounts receivable and generating monthly financial statements.
• Strong human relation skills and ability to work with a variety of individuals. This includes a high
degree of self-confidence and initiative to pursue tasks and activities that are not well defined and
work with individuals with whom s/he has little or no familiarity.
• High level of effective verbal and written communication skills. This includes the ability to create
various forms of communication with limited direction and tailor the message to the author and
audience.
• Solid and demonstrated organizational skills, with experience in identifying and implementing process
improvements.
• Demonstrated skill in identifying and handling confidential material and information, to deal with
multiple priorities and frequent interruptions.
