Sheriff's Dept. Finds Body After Report of Possible Drowning on Farm Pond in Black Hawk County
Black Hawk County Sheriff's Department said they found a middle-aged man dead at the scene at 3137 North Elk Run Road.

The possible drowning was called in at around 8 a.m. on July 5.

The Black Hawk County Sheriff's Dept. received a report of a possible drowning in a farm pond east of Cedar Falls on the north side of Waterloo.
A statement from the sheriff's department said they found a middle-aged man dead at the scene at 3137 North Elk Run Road. Waterloo Fire/Rescue assisted.
The man's information is being withheld pending notification of family and an autopsy.
