Three Killed In Cedar Falls Crash Identified
Police say a car crossed the center line and hit an SUV head on.

CEDAR FALLS, IA — Three people who died in a collision on Viking Road Friday night have been identified by authorities. The victims all were ejected from one of the two vehicles involved in the collision at the intersection of Winterberry Drive.
Authorities said a sedan was heading westbound on Viking Road and crossed the center line, striking an SUV head on. The family in the SUV, including a couple and their 9-year-old daughter, were hospitalized, but none had life-threatening injuries, KIMT-TV reported.
The driver and passengers in the sedan all died on Friday. They were identified as Elijah James Showalter, 20; Daniel James Delagardelle, 21; and Brady Hagenstein, 16.

Police did not indicate which of the victims was driving. The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
