• My Waterloo Days needs volunteers. Various opportunities are available from Thursday, June 12 through Sunday, June 15 including beer ticket sales, beer tent, recycling stations, and gate attendants. Various shifts are available. Volunteers age 18 and over are welcome.
• Side walkers and horse leaders are needed for Horseback Riding Lessons beginning June 9 at ASPIRE Therapeutic Riding Program. Classes are held on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday each week from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Volunteers age 14 and over are needed.
• The Culture & Intensive English Program at the University of Northern Iowa has an 8-week program beginning in June. Come meet international students and give them an opportunity to use their English with members of the Cedar Valley community. Meetings occur on Wednesdays in June and July at 2:15 PM in Bartlett Hall 1017 starting on June 11th. Volunteers age 18 and over are welcome.
• Volunteers will work with trained Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity site supervisors building homes with families in need. No construction experience is necessary. Volunteers age 18 and over are needed on June 14, 21 and 28 from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
