An iPad proved to be more than a way to take pictures for a man at a recent softball game at the UNI-Dome.

A foul ball flew toward him - and slammed into his iPad instead of his face.

The video has been picked up by media across the country, with the original YouTube video now at 845,000 views and climbing.

The iPad was apparently unharmed by the collision, as the man went back to filming the game. Here's hoping he got some good footage.
