This Week's Forecast

In the weather outlook we’ve been waiting for, the National Weather Service expects that temperatures will finally be rising above freezing this week.

The forecast for the Cedar Falls area, as of Tuesday morning, showed the following:

• Tuesday - temperatures rising up to a high of 12. Low tonight of 2 with a 20% chance of light snow.
• Wednesday - partly sunny with a high of 22 and a 20% chance of light snow. Low of 11.

• Thursday - sunny with a high of 31 and a low of 16.
• Friday - a streak of temperatures in the upper 30s is expected to last through the weekend.

Take advantage of the relief this weekend by getting outdoors to take care of the things you’d never want to do in the bitter cold! Clean your car or take your dog for a walk!
