This Week's Forecast

In the weather outlook we’ve been waiting for, the National Weather Service expects that temperatures will finally be rising above freezing this week.

The forecast for the Iowa City area, as of Tuesday morning, showed the following:

• Tuesday - temperatures rising up to a high of 14. Low tonight of 1.
• Wednesday - partly sunny with a high of 23 and a 20% chance of light snow. Low of 10.

• Thursday - sunny with a high of 30 and a low of 17.
• Friday - a streak of temperatures around 40 degrees is expected to last through the weekend.

Take advantage of the relief this weekend by getting outdoors to take care of the things you’d never want to do in the bitter cold! Clean your car or take your dog for a walk!
