When Do the UNI Panthers Play Bradley in the CIT?

The Northern Iowa men's basketball team racked up another win in the CIT this weekend. Now they're on to the quarterfinals.

The University of Northern Iowa men's basketball team moves on to the quarterfinals of the CollegeInsider.com Tournament  (CIT) after wins over North Dakota (77-66) and UIC (63-51).

The Panthers now play Bradley at UNI.

• Bradley defeated Green Bay (75-69) and Tulane (77-72) to reach the CIT quarters.
• UNI earned its 20th win of the season against UIC - extending the Missouri Valley Conference’s longest active 20-win seasons streak to five.
• UNI has set its single-season record for home wins this season with 15. The Panthers have posted a mark of 15-3 at home this season.
• UNI has won a postseason game in four straight seasons (2010 - NCAA; 2011 - CIT; 2012 - NIT; 2013 - CIT).
• UNI is the best free throw shooting (76.0 percent) team in the Valley. UNI is ranked No. 9 in the nation in FT%.
• Senior guard Marc Sonnen ranks No. 6 in the nation in 3-point field goal percentage at 44.9 percent.
• Sonnen set the UNI single-season 3-pointers made record this season with 92. Sonnen needs six made 3-pointers to tie the UNI career record for 3-pointers (203 - Ben Jacobson).
• UNI head coach Ben Jacobson has compiled an overall record of 149-85 in seven seasons with the Panthers. He has compiled a mark of 77-49 (.611 winning percentage) in MVC regular season play over that time as well.
