Davenport 4th Of July Fireworks: 2017 Guide

DAVENPORT, IA -- The nation is about to celebrate its 241st birthday, and it's time to watch the glorious explosions we know as fireworks. Events in the Davenport area range from simple fireworks shows to day-long extravaganzas.

Saturday, July 1

• Buffalo Iowa Days. June 30 to July 2. Lots of events like road races, rides, games, food and a live concert.
• Fireworks at dusk on July 1.

Monday, July 3

• Davenport Red, White and Boom
• 5 p.m. to dusk. River Bandits baseball game, kids' activities, food and more. Fireworks at 9:30 p.m., more entertainment after fireworks!

Tuesday, July 4

• Bettendorf live events. Parade at 10 a.m. Amusement rides on Spruce Hills Drive starting at noon.
• Fireworks start at 9:30 p.m.

Tuesday, July 4

• Muscatine: pancake breakfast, kids parade, food music and more. Parade at 5 p.m.
• Fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

• Park View event
• 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Food entertainment, games, a parade and more. Fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

• Wayland events
• 6:30 a.m. breakfast. Parade at 10:30 a.m., live music, food vendors and more. Fireworks at dusk at the Waco School Football Field.
