(Springfield, IL) – Illinois’ leading behavioral health advocacy group presented its prized mental health honor last week to the Moline-based Robert Young Center.

The Illinois Association for Behavioral Health’s (IABH) top leader, CEO Sara Howe, presented the group’s prestigious “2019 Mental Health Excellence Award” to the Robert Young Center’s president, Dennis Duke, and staff at its Moline headquarters on Friday, November 22, recognizing the organization as a “leader in innovative mental health services.”

“RYC has been a leader in innovative mental health services for more than three decades,” said Howe. “And as consumer needs have expanded to include care for co-occurring substance use disorders, treatment of chronic health conditions and advanced recovery support services, the Robert Young Center has adapted to serve individuals with mental illness with dignity and excellence, and that is why it has earned our 2019 mental health excellence award.”
