Truck Stop Death Ruled A Homicide: Davenport Police

DAVENPORT, IA — Police are investigating a death at the Flying J truck stop on Monday as a homicide. Officials say the body of a Louisiana man was found inside a vehicle in the parking lot.

Davenport police received a call about an unresponsive person in a vehicle around noon Monday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

WQAD reported the man has been identified as Chuck Olivier of Denham Springs, La.

Authorities have not released details about how Olivier died, but said there is no threat to the public.
