DES MOINES, IA — A crash on the city's east side Monday night sent one vehicle into a building, where it caught on fire. Two people were injured.

Des Moines Police Sgt. Paul Parizek said the accident occurred about 9:30 p.m. Monday at East 29th Street and Hubbell Avenue. Lehman's vehicle was struck in the intersection by a vehicle driven by Heather Morris, 38, of Des Moines, who was heading southwest on Hubbell.
