Des Moines Air Travel Options Expand With New Frontier Route
Travelers will find nonstop direct flights from Des Moines to San Francisco seasonally and year-round flights to Orlando by spring.

DES MOINES, IA. -- Des Moines air travelers will find a new direct flight to California beginning in the spring. Frontier Airlines has announced that seasonal non-stop flights from the Des Moines International Airport to San Francisco will begin June 5.
The company also announced that its flights from Des Moines to Orlando, a route currently offered only in the winter months, will become year round starting in June.
Frontier made the announcement in connection with the expansion of routes to nine additional cities as part of its “low fares expansion” nationwide campaign. The company in July announced an expansion of 85 routes in more than 20 cities. It also added non-stop flights from Des Moines to Las Vegas earlier this year.
