DES MOINES, IA. -- Des Moines diners have an expanding array of options for foods that meet special dietary needs and one area that is growing is the plant-based vegan meal selection.
The Local Yelp - Des Moines today chose five favorite spots for finding vegan-friendly meals in the capital city. Reviewers found dining options in all parts of the city -- downtown, west side, East Village and the south side -- that offer everything from soups and smoothies to sandwiches and seafood.
