The Iowa Clinic Invests in Critical Lung Disease Education

Today, the American Lung Association in Iowa announced that The Iowa Clinic has signed on as the presenting sponsor for the 2019 LUNG FORCE Expo, which will take place on May 10 at the Hilton Garden Inn in West Des Moines.

The LUNG FORCE Expo is designed to educate health professionals and adults affected by lung disease or lung cancer about the latest trends, resources and research surrounding lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, and other respiratory diseases. Along with sponsoring the event, The Iowa Clinic experts will lead sessions on rare lung diseases, environmental hazards and asthma, and speak on a panel about lung disease medications, screening and treatment options.
