Youth Shelter Worker Charged With Sexual Abuse In Des Moines
Bond has been set at $22,000 for Zachary Allen Campbell.

DES MOINES, IA — An Urbandale man who worked at a Des Moines shelter for teens has been charged with sexually abusing a 14-year-old. The sexual activity reportedly occurred in a private area of the Youth Emergency Services and Shelter.
Zachary Allen Campbell, 20, was an employee at the YESS facility. CEO Stephen Quirk told KCCI-TV that Campbell worked there part time and is no longer employed by the nonprofit group.
Campbell was charged with two counts of third-degree sexual abuse and one count of sexual misconduct with juvenile offenders. He remains in the Polk County Jail this morning.
