Artist Reception: Shauna Humrich & Amy E. Witte

The Ankeny Art Center introduces two new exhibitions by fine art photographer Shauna Humrich of Des Moines and Ankeny encaustic mixed-media artist Amy E. Witte. A reception for both artists will be held on Thursday, August 6 from 5 to 7 p.m.

The exhibition opens to the public on August 4 and runs through September 30. Both the exhibition and reception are free and open to the public; wine and appetizers will be served at the opening reception.

Shauna Humrich's exhibit “Buildings, Bridges & Sculpture” will be featured in the main gallery. This fine art photography exhibition will feature landscapes and abstractions of iconic and historical architectural landmarks. In the side gallery, Amy E. Witte will exhibit her encaustic mixed-media exhibition titled "Word Play."
