Bicyclists ride DART buses for free May 11-15

Event held in conjunction with Bike to Work Week

Riders who board with a bike can ride DART buses for free Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15, as part of Bike to Work Week of National Bike Month.

Bike racks are available on all DART Local, Express and On Call/Flex buses, enabling people to use a combination of bike and bus to travel farther and faster, without relying on personal vehicles.

• Secure Bike Storage is available at DART Central Station. An indoor bicycle storage room and changing room are available for a $50 annual fee plus a $50 one-time deposit.
• onTime Transit App allows riders to track buses in real time and know exactly when to be at the bus stop. The app is available on Apple, Android and Windows phone.
