Car Purchased With Closed Checking Account: Johnston Police Blotter

The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls March 15 and March 18. Take a look at the reports.

March 15
A 64-year-old man reported his wallet was found and turned in. When wallet was returned to victim he reported it was stolen from his vehicle that was parked at his residence. Victim later reported his credit cards were missing and someone had made fraudulent charges on his card.

March 17
Officers took a report of several thousand dollars of tools taken from a building in the 5300 block of Merle Hay Road.

March 18
Jennifer King, 34, was arrested for theft. Lithia Motors reported a female subject purchased a vehicle using a check on a closed account.
