- Bryan Burkhardt - 1,032 votes
- Adam Haar - 203 votes
- Jim Gorsche (write-in) - 777 votes
- Other (write-in) - 6 votes
The appointment will become effective after the Polk County Election Office has certified the election and the oath is taken.
