We understand this is a very popular feature, especially with the heat we have been experiencing. The reciprocating pump needs a replacement, but unfortunately, the part is on backorder.
With no flow of water happening near the upper ponds, an algae bloom is occurring. Â Unfortunately, low winds, hot weather and no rain is breeding ground for algae. Algae is beginning to surface on the lake and this may continue to spread if we do not receive precipitation. This alga does not impact fish or wildlife.
