Real-time bus information available on Google maps.
Des Moines, Iowa – Residents and visitors of the Greater Des Moines region can now view real-time DART bus information, service alerts and trip updates on Google Maps. The real-time information is an addition to DART schedule information initially available on the mapping service.
“Google Maps is an increasingly popular way to plan trips using public transportation,” said DART Marketing Director Kirstin Baer-Harding. “Adding DART real-time bus information helps riders know exactly when to be at the bus stop and select the best route they should take to their destination.”
To plan a DART trip on Google Maps, simply visit maps.google.com or use the Google Maps app on mobile devices to enter trip details and select the transit icon. Real-time arrival times, delays and alerts will be shown in the trip details.
