Emergency Parking Ban In Effect In Johnston
City officials will alert residents when plowing has been completed and street parking is allowed again.
JOHNSTON, IA — The city has enacted an emergency parking ban on all Johnston streets, due to the snow that began Wednesday evening. Residents should avoid parking until plowing has been completed.
The ban applies to streets, alleys and roadways within the community.
Once plowing and treating have been completed, city officials will notify residents to the end of the parking ban via the city website, www.cityofjohnston.com.
