Join us for a variety of activities ranging from Easter Egg decorating to Festival Worship during Holy Week, March 29 to April 5 at Faith Lutheran Church, 10395 University Avenue, Clive, Iowa.
On Palm Sunday, March 29, Faith will hold an intergenerational Sunday School session, open to all ages, at 9:30 a.m. You can choose from seed planting, watch a slide show about Passover during the time of Jesus Christ, make Palm Crosses or decorate Easter Eggs. The eggs will be donated to the Salvation Army.
On Maundy Thursday, April 2, Faith will host Dinner Church at 6 p.m. As did the earliest Christians, we’ll gather around the tables in St. Michael’s Hall for fellowship, worship and a simple meal as the family of God. Please respond to Kala, kalazanoni@faithlc.org or call the church office at 515-225-8334 as soon as possible so that we can accommodate all.
On Good Friday, April 3, we will present the Way of the Cross with a special service at 6 p.m. in music and scripture with hands-on elements for our youngest worshipers.
On Saturday, April 4, we will have a service of prayer and song at 5 p.m. The theme will be “Preparing for Easter Sunday”.
On Easter Sunday, April 5, we will have our Sunrise Service at 6:30 a.m. That will be followed by Festival Worship services at 8:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. We will also serve Easter breakfast from 7:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
