Family-Owned Business Brings Summer to Backyards

Why spend big bucks traveling when Aqua Oasis of Johnston can transform your yard with a pool, hot tub, smoker grill or other leisure product. 

The family owned and operated business has been open for four years.

Jason Kohles, a salesman and son of the owner of Aqua Oasis, said the most popular item the business offers is a Caldera hot tub.

“It’s great for people that are looking for relaxation and ways to enjoy their friend’s and family’s company,” Kohles said. “You can use hot tubs for so many things, it’s almost like having the health benefits with no side effects. It’s great for entertaining and for your health.”

Kohles said Aqua Oasis also can do a backyard makeover.

“My dad is a homebuilder, so we can do complete renovations, like remodeling on someone’s house,” Kohles said. “If someone wants a pool to go in, if they want a patio or if they want a complete backyard oasis, we can set that up for them.”

After a product is delivered, Kohles said an orientation is given on how to use the chemicals and other things.

“When I sell a tub I want to make sure people know how to use it and are comfortable using it,” Kohles said. “Customer service is huge for us. Johnston is such a small, tightknit town we want to make people happy.”

Once in awhile, specials will be offered such as a free year’s supply of chemicals, check their website to see what current specials are running.
