Johnston Families Can Amp Up Recycling, Win an iPad

Sign up to take the Family Recycling Challenge!

Rally your family and tackle recycling, while competing against others in your community. Three families in each participating community will be selected by Metro Waste Authority to participate in The Family Recycling Challenge. At the end of 12 weeks, the family from each community that best demonstrates their new, savvy recycling skills will win an Apple iPad.

So, if your family wants to improve their recycling habits and possibly win an iPad, then this fun, interactive challenge is for you. If you're already an avid recycler, please share the details of this challenge with others who may be interested.

Participating families will earn points by:
• attending the kick-off celebration dinner
• participating in Curb It!, the curbside recycling program
• recycling acceptable materials
• sharing what you learn with others

Social media, newsletters and media outlets will highlight The Family Recycling Challenge and the report the progress of every family. Addresses, last names and other private information will remain confidential.
