Johnston Farmers' Market Open May 21; Vendors Sought

The Johnston Farmers' Market takes place from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays.

The Johnston Farmers Market is seeking additional vendors and growers for its weekly market, which begins May 21.

The market typically features a variety of fresh and locally grown fruits and vegetables as well as kettle korn, fudge, homemade breads, cakes and cookies, honey, fresh roasted nuts, Asian specialties, barbecue and other prepared foods, wood and metal art, jewelry and music.

New hours for the market are 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. each Tuesday through Oct. 8 in the Johnston City Hall parking lot, 6221 Merle Hay Road.
