Sandra Blue, 73, of Johnston, died July 22, 2013, at Mercy Hospice Johnston.
She has donated her body to Beggs Research lab to find a cure for CNM. When diagnosed, Blue was the 27th known case in the world.
A memorial service will be at a later date.
Arrangements were handled by Iles Funeral Homes - Dunn's Chapel.Â
