William “Bill” J. Kucera, 60, died July 4, 2013, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston.
He has donated his body to Des Moines University so they may learn from his illness - kidney cancer - and keep someone else from suffering.
He was the owner of Oak Leaf Lighting LLC.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be from noon to 4 p.m. July 13, 2013, at 5310 N.W. Burr Oak Drive, Johnston.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Mercy Hospice and the Iowa State Fair Blue Ribbon Foundation.
