Johnston's Newest Bar, Doc's Lounge Offers Drink Specials, Entertainment

Doc’s Lounge opened last November and offers games, a patio, food, entertainment and drink specials.

Brian Lee, owner of Doc’s Lounge, said the atmosphere is what makes the bar unique.

“We have a comfortable atmosphere,” Lee said. “We’re not your typical alpha-male bar. We are friendly to all crowds.”

Doc’s Lounge offers ski ball, four TV’s, pool, dart and arcade games. Entertainment is based on themes that change nightly. Monday is steak night, Tuesday is trivia night, there's live music on Friday and karaoke on Saturday nights. Sunday customers can shoot pool free.

Lee said Doc’s popular drinks are the martinis and shots. Doc’s has an extensive martini and drink list. There are eight different beers on tap.

The happy hour is everyday from 3-7 p.m. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, a poker chip special is held and special prices are offered.

Monday: $3.00 Captains, $4.00 Buttercrown, $3.00 mug night, $2.00 Bud Light Pints (3-7 p.m.)

Tuesday: $4.00 Dirty Girl Scout shot, $4.00 spice cake, 2 for 1 tokens (3-7 p.m.)

Wednesday: $4.00 Vegas, Cherry or Grape bombs, 2 for 1 tokens

Thursday: $4.00 Rum Chata, $3.00 Captains, $3.00 Bud Light 23 oz. draw

Friday: $4.00 Fireball shot, $6.50 martini, $2.00 Bud/Bud Light bottles (3-7 p.m.)

Saturday: $3.50 Jolly Rancher or Flu Shot, $4.50 Muscle Relaxer, $6.50 Martini, $2.00 Bud Light pint (11 a.m.-6 p.m.). $2.50 well drink (11 a.m.- 6 p.m.)
