Police Blotter Rewind: Stolen Jewelry, Shattered Windows
The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls Dec. 15 to Dec. 23. Take a look at the reports.

Dates below are when the incident was reported or occurred, not when an arrest or charges were filed. Charges do not always result in convictions. All individuals listed below are innocent until proven guilty.
Dec. 15
A 39-year-old man reported receiving harassing phone calls.
Dec. 16
Officers were dispatched in reference to crime alert call on a person who was not suppose to be at the residence. Officers spoke with the homeowner and all was okay.
Dec. 17
A student reported being assaulted by another student on the bus. The incident is under investigation.
Dec. 18
A 69-year-old woman reported jewelry stolen from her residence in the 5700 block of Linden Court.
A 34-year-old woman reported receiving harassing phone calls.
Johnston Middle School student reported a theft of a cell phone from the fitness center at Johnston High School when she was there for practice.
Dec. 19
A 74-year-old man reported someone called their hotel room claiming to be a hotel employee who needed their credit card number again.
Dec. 20
Justin Gilliland, 26, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Hy-Vee reported a disruptive female be trespassed from the property.
A resident in the area of Northwest 103rd Street and Catalina Drive reported damage to his mailbox.
Officer responded to a civil dispute between a father and daughter.
Dec. 21
A 16-year-old juvenile was charged with impersonating a public official.
Dec. 22
Caressa Meredith, 23, was charged with driving while barred - habitual offender.
Dec. 23
Officers responded to a call of domestic dispute.
A 44-year-old woman reported two of her vehicles windows were shattered while she was parked in the parking lot at 5233 Stoney Creek Court. Nothing was reported stolen.
