Spring Break is Here!
That means Summer Art Camp is just around the corner! Some of our camps fill-up fast, so start planning and register early!

Summer Camps fill up fast and there are a lot of options to choose from. Parents will find that Summer Art Camp at the Ankeny Art Center is a great opportunity for children to develop their creative potential by experiencing the visual arts. Most importantly, children have fun and make memories that will last a lifetime.
Our Certified Art Teachers have the ability to help develop a student’s way of looking at the world. We feel that’s very important, since not just anyone is qualified to foster an inspiring, motivating learning environment that encourages students to create, use their imaginations and also stretch the limits of their talent. Our Summer Art Camp teachers will engage and inspire your child to reach beyond and create art that is unique to them. It’s amazing to see just what kids can do when given the freedom to explore and to express themselves in a creative way!
Week-long Summer Art Camps are also tailored to a variety of age groups and feature different art activities that provide students with hands-on experience in a variety of materials. That’s important too. Children learn and develop relationships with others better when they are grouped in similar age groups that spark creativity, engagement and individual expression in a safe, nurturing and friendly environment. Watch this video on YouTube to see the kids in action during last year’s Summer Art Camp!
