Volunteers Invited To Help Battle Spread of Invasive Plants at Beaver Creek Natural Resource Area
Volunteers will meet at Crown Point Community Center, 6300 Pioneer Parkway at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 13.

The Johnston Parks and Recreation Department and the Johnston Tree Board are inviting volunteers to help battle the spread of invasive plants such as honeysuckle in the Beaver Creek Natural Resource Area.
Volunteers will meet at Crown Point Community Center, 6300 Pioneer Parkway at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 13.
Work time will be 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with refreshments provided.

Wear long sleeves and long pants, and dress for the weather. Bring gloves, loppers and/or pruning saw if you have them. Â Some tools will be available.
