Young spelunkers invited to explore God's word at Faith Lutheran Church

Clive, IA—Go deep into understanding God’s Word at Vacation Bible School 2016, which will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., June 12-16, at Faith Lutheran Church, 10395 University Avenue in Clive, Iowa.

Each night of this year’s VBS will have a theme based on a Scripture passage; this passage will set the theme for the evening, as participants explore the Word through song, science, art, games and discussions. And guess what—the chance to explore God’s word is free!!!!

A noisy free-will offering will be collected every evening. That offering will go to update the Gathering House, which Faith uses when hosting the Family Promise program.

This year’s VBS will have a wide variety of activities for young spelunkers (actually students entering pre-kindergarten through 5th grade in the fall) wishing to explore the caverns of God’s word. Our Cave Quest VBS will have such stations as Sing and Play Rock, Cave Crafts, Deep Bible quests, Spelunker sports and games and KidVid Cinema and snacks.
